EuroGamer: "James Boty's the creator of Wildfire Worlds, and Wildfire Worlds is one of the most interesting things I've seen in years. It has a central concept few game designers would choose to engage with openly, and, as Boty's just revealed, an origin story that even fewer would ever admit to."
Playing Wildfire Worlds feels like being a child pretending to destroy a city, playing at violence with toys that will never quite be the same again once the session is over. Sure, you've destroyed a city, tracked down and converted or killed hundreds of people, wiped out schools, police, and firemen, and caused billions in damage, but it's all with a sense of good fun.
Pixels for Breakfast writes: When we first stumbled across the adorable trailer for Wildfire Worlds we immediately fell in love. Then, when we saw a trailer showing riots in this paper craft city of madness, we simply had to learn more. We caught up with James, the director of this ambitious title, to learn a little more about the vision for the game.
This week: Low Light Combat, Coward Knight: a Stealth Adventure and Wildfire Worlds. Bonus track: games for cats!
