As with most any weekend here at Examiner, we're playing through a handful of early access games that you yourself will get to play in the coming weeks. This weekend involves playing through an early review code of Klei Entertainment's Mark of the Ninja. Of the many ninja games out there, only a few make a genuine attempt to capture the stealth aspect of these assassins. Mark of the Ninja is one of those games. Our review embargo hasn't lifted yet, but we were given permission to showcase sections of the first four chapters of the game.
The upcoming mobile game Don't Starve: Newhome just got a new animated story trailer and things don't look good for Wilson... or anyone else stuck in the Constant.
Chinese gaming conglomerate Tencent has acquired a majority stake in Klei Entertainment, the developer of Don't Starve, Oxygen Not Included, and Griftlands.
Can they just...stop gobbling up everything? This is such a great indie studio. I'm not a fan of Tencent having a majority stake in them. Companies like Riot, whatever. But smaller quality devs? Quit it, Tencent!
how about we stop letting chinese companies with ccp handlers buy any stake in any western company.
It was fun to play Don't starve together while it lasted. I guess I won't play anymore
Mark of the Ninja truly makes its stealth gameplay shine, despite being a sidescroller. How did they pull it off?
The best game Klei ever made until they went only started making early access games.
Ok, Im getting this game.
This looks fantastic
Looks great. Another winner for XBLA.
This will be garbage. It's from the same people that made those crappy Shank games.
