Worms Collection Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: "The Worms Collection might not be one hundred percent pure gold, but it is a great way to reacquaint yourself with the classic series. OK, Ultimate Mayhem isn’t the Worms that we all remember and adore, but it is a bold attempt at reworking the series that unfortunately loses the charm of the original. Also, including Worms and Worms 2: Armageddon seems a bit redundant, as the two titles are almost the same, save for the extras in the second title. Releasing a full collection that compiles the currently available Arcade titles doesn’t seem entirely worthwhile, seeing as how similar some of them are. It seems that most Worms fans would have their taste for battle satiated by purchasing the madcap Worms 2: Armageddon alone, but this is a nice option for the completionists out there, and for those who love the concept, but missed out on trying some of the later entries into the series."

$30 for a copy paste from Activision is still a waste of money

Are we talking about CoD:BlOps 2 here? If so, agreed. My wife was given a copy for the Xbox 360 that I tried to enjoy...simply couldn't get into it.

Over the weekend I decided, maybe it was the platform...I'm more of a PS3 guy, so maybe I'll try it on the PS3. I did! It still sucks!

I'm not sure where Treyarch was derailed because, as far as I'm concerned, I've always preferred their CoD offerings. Even during the WWII run Treyarch's entries, such as CoD:WAW, ranked among my favorites.

I don't know about you, but the CoD franchise has become the mindless action film we consider a guilty pleasure...minus the pleasure.

and to get the complete game you have to pay up to an additional 60 bucks for all the maps they held out for the sake of DLC....

I bought it like a month ago for $32 the game is pretty decent I just had to get used to playing on the gamepad which I highly recommend. It's better than any other multiplayer game currently on the Wii U. ;)

Review: Worms Collection (New Gamer Nation)

There are a lot of Worms games out there, and some are more enjoyable than others. Packaging together the titles in this collection—Worms, Worms 2: Armageddon, and Worms: Ultimate Mayhem—seems a somewhat questionable move on the developer’s part, as each of these games more-or-less follow the same premise. There are, of course, some differences between the titles on offer, but is that enough of a reason to buy this collection?
