Has FIFA 13 fixed FIFA 12's seven greatest mistakes?

OXM - Sam Horti compares this year to last year's effort.

1: too short replays, and having to depend on a crappy EA website/connection to uopload a very limited number of 5 of those short replays, is just ridculous in this day and age.

Let me upload all the replays I want to my Youtube account! It's 2012 already! Get with the program, EA.

2: Too many screens and menus to click and suffer through before I can finally play a match.

3: I want a proper player-editor, so I can go in there and fix those players EA didn't care about, both in ability (offline only ofcourse), as well as appearance.

i dont see why the dont have a cloud video capture for the whole match similar to uncharted.. also their highlight feature constantly misses out goals and shots in favour of random mundane saves.

1. Get a HD PVR or Elgato.
2. EA have already said in a Tweet that they will lower this.
3. Really? Is this a big a problem? Well, there will obviously be more editing options in FIFA 13 anyway.

i think there should be also space for more than 1 squad line up, especially since you basically need 2 teams to play career mode. So instead of chaging players one by one, i just switch between predetermined lineups

Another year, another number changed on the fifa cover.

Not aimed at you buddy cause in a way your right but me myself don't buy these franchises every year, I brought fifa 11 and this year I will buy 13, I brought tiger 09 and didn't upgrade till 12. My point being there are people out there that buy the same franchise year in year out me personally dont know why.

Nice to see some of the bigger problems fixed for Fifa 13 namely the impact engine and the shocking ref decisions. Still, momentum is the big one I want EA to change. Now I don't think fifa is "scripted" to the point where the winner is determined from the start but there is definitely things that EA have done which favours a certain team. Last h2h game I played it felt like all my players were magnetically repelled from the ball making defending extremely difficult while my opponents team were charging into me like homing missiles with half the time making tackles while not even positioned correctly.

Not all outdated football games are worthless

Games Asylum: "Outdated football games are a common sight when scouring jumble sales, car boots and charity shops for bargain price video games. Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Often they end up in bargain bins, sitting alongside unwanted celebrity fitness DVDs and seemingly random TV show box sets. But here’s the thing. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."

Just who is buying FIFA 13 on Wii U? We may never know, but there are more people buying that than there are Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.

Sonic Boom? welp, sucks to suck.
But, Bayonetta is a real shame

wonderfulmonkeyman3449d ago

Sonic Boom is riding off the popularity of the TV show; it's a bad game.

And as for FIFA?
Well, guess that goes to show that there's a lot of older gamers on Wii U that wanted FIFA, then; sports games generally do out-sell action games, and Platinum isn't known for large sales in the first place.

I'm not worried for Bayonetta. It'll hit that 1M mark by the middle of next year, surely, at its current pace.

are seriously trying to downplay Bayonetta 2 with sales
