Sessler's Soapbox: 5-Star Hero

Sessler's back on his Soapbox this week to talk about the X-Play's recent review of No More Heroes for the Wii. It seems that the game's 5 out of 5 star rating has taken a number of viewers by surprise and Adam just wants to take moment to elaborate on what makes the adventures of Travis Touchdown such a welcome offering this January. Check out the video and let X-Play know what you think, or share your thoughts on X-Play's forums.

Nice explaination of why it got 5/5 and I agree with him. The best weapon of this game is originality and freshness. The story and dialog are wonderful. If people can look past all the horrors and glitches of Mass Effect and still see the glory of it just like some can say how short of repetitve Heavenly Sword is and still think it's an amazing story there should be no problem saying NMH is a top notch game. I like how he even said it's on par to originality with the likes of ICO and Shadow of Colossus. Yes we're talking that level of goodness!

Sessler needs to get out of XPLAY and get his own show. He RULEZ!

Yeah, there is something about No More Heroes that is different. Creativity is not copying what you see in the real world, it's making an experience, and his experience was good. Mine is pretty good too if you can look past the flaws. :D

Sessler said he's not a fan of story in games? WTF? No wonder Uncharted gets a 4 when this gets a 5. Nothing against No More Heroes, but I just think that's a weird thing to say.

Actually Ryan Gosling makes a ton of sense.

Edit: If this can be done in a Scott Pilgrim movie kind of way that would be dope.

The more I think about it, the more I kinda want it to be a thing lol. Ryan Gosling would be awesome. He would need to play it less serious, but he's shown that he can be a goofball.
