The reason I say that is because I never will say a specific company is better overall. I am personally more of a fan of Nintendo but I will never say that Nintendo is better than Sony, or Sony is better then Nintendo. Same with Microsoft. I can say that Sony was the best in whatever year, same with Nintendo and Microsoft. But I will never say Sony is the future, or the greastest. Nor Nintendo is the future or greatest, or Microsoft is the future or greatest. They are all great

I would say, rather, they all have their moments. Longer moments, in the case of Sony and Nintendo.

Edit: I'm biased in their favor because I prefer story-based games (read: Single-player) to shooters (read: multiplayer)

Just purchased a three month membership and oh my God... There are so many free games to download. inFamous 2, Dead Space 2, Little Big Planet 2, Just Cause 2, Outland, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Rock of Ages and these are the games I never played before but wanted to. And I couldn't resist the Summer Sale and got Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Metal Gear Solid (have MGS and VR Missions on disc but don't want them getting scratched!) too. So now I have to wait for them to finish downloading... But goddamn isn't this amazing.

Only Sony could take an idea Microsoft had, (Charging for online), but make it 1000x better. Make it optional, add free goodies and early access to DLC and betas. They made PS Plus the best thing ever when it comes to online.

I bought Plus Day One and one reason was because of the promotional goodies we got and was worried what the second year would bring. When that time came,I did not hesitate to renew because I keep downloading more value in free stuff than what I have paid out for Plus. Am glad to hear of the 1GB increase, but Skyrim autosaves clutter it up quick. I have not renewed my Gold membership on XBLA in over 2 years, have cards I bought on Amazon for 30 bucks just no reason to use them yet.

Put them on a USB stick or save less. i use the cloud space when i play at other locations, like in my bedroom and moving in to the living room for the surround sound and larger TV.

I love Playstation Plus. I may not like all the games they offer, but you know what, these are still free games, and when the good ones do come, THEY ARE AWESOME! Case in point, LittleBigPlanet 2, Infamous 2, Borderlands, the whole Back To The Future bundle, etc, and next month's offering, one of the best games of 2010, Red Dead Redemption! And now Cloud Storage is being upgraded from 150MB to 1GB?? If people still hate on PS+, they must not like anything that symbolizes awesomeness.

I don't understand why victoryscreeech got so many thumbs down and flagged as spam. This just shows how biased users are around here. In fact, wouldnt you want Microsoft and Nintendo to do better? If they do then it keeps Sony on their feet and forces them to excel from even their own abilities. It's the laws of capitalism. The worse the competition the worse the products are going to be for the consumer. People should use some brains around here and not just flag as spam or trolling because said comment lacks mindless praise towards your preferred console of choice. Still, It makes me chuckle seeing the hardcore fans in action. As if a few thumbs down really changes the reality of the situation.

Man, I don´t want to pay to play online, even if Xbox Live it´s better. I prefer to earn some games instead of a better "social relationship". If i wanted to chat or text with friends, I would go to facebook or other things in my PC. In the PS3, I just want to game.
