PS3's YouTube App Loves Your Smartphone

Is it just me or do the youtube app lags on ps3 loads slow and video is choppy

Maybe it's just me but the youtube PS3 app needs a little tweaking,I'm pleased that I can watch videos in hd & it's much clearer to watch but some videos have lagging or frame rate issues nor can you make comments & searching for videos (typing) is a bit of a hassle.

The search function is terrible! It's part of the reason why I would prefer using a smartphone to control it. Makes it easier somehow and you can view comments, which I don't think is possible on the PS3 app.

Still needs a bit more work, but not a bad start!

The app is a disaster, only 360p video and lagging UI, plus that BS registration. PS3YouTube and the PS3 Bookmarklet are still needed.

Thanks for the updated links, but they and your comment has nothing to do with the actual app.

The app is generally bad, PS3Youtube is still better, but the sad fact is that people will use it over PS3Youtube or the bookmarklet simply because of accessibility.

PS3youtube hasn't been able to stream in hd or save to the hdd for the last 2 days so we might be stuck with this!!!

This app is pretty awesome. I thought it wasn't going to be anything special but I was wrong.
