DSOGaming writes: "Lunar software is an independent development team of 3 with sound and music from Mick Gordon. This indie team today announced its Unreal Engine 3 powered horror game, Routine. Routine is an 80s vision of the futureset on an abandoned Moon base, it is a new first person horror exploration game which has a heavy emphasis on hiding, survival and Perma death!"
First announced almost a decade ago, sci-fi horror game Routine got a brand-new trailer during Summer Game Fest. Utilizing in-game footage, this trailer shows that the project has been revived and how much it has matured since its last showing.
This game was first announced 10 years ago. Here's a gameplay trailer from back then. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I've been looking forward to this for a looong time.
From Xfire: "Horror has always been one of the most popular forms of fiction, with frightening themes appearing in art stretching back to the oldest traditional myths, as well as in modern media spanning film, television, literature and games - but you don't need to buy the latest AAA shocker to get a good fright. Some of the scariest experiences can be found in indie games, for free, on Itch."
DSOGaming writes: "There have been two indie sci-fi games that amazed me the moment they were revealed and these are: Reset and Routine. Unfortunately, though, these two titles are missing in action and we may never see them."
Hopefully the HORROR isn't referring to unreal engines trademark slow texture streaming.
Awesome!
