Pocket Gamer: Nintendo's Touch Generations games have your best interests at heart, but they can send you on some depressing guilt trips if you don't keep them up.
It's been a good three years since my last brain-training routine, and I can only imagine what Dr Kawashima's polygonal visage will look like when I boot the game up again. My Nintendogs + Cats cart, meanwhile, is now a pet cemetery.
Nintendo writes:
"Register a Nintendo 3DS XL with Club Nintendo by January 15th, 2013 and you'll be eligible to claim one of five top Nintendo 3DS titles to download from Nintendo eShop. Then, once you've downloaded your game directly to your Nintendo 3DS XL system, you'll be able to take it with you wherever you go!"
As 2013 slowly cranks into gear, Nintendo of Europe has released details of what Europeans can expect in this week's download update. It's another week with no additions on the Wii U eShop, but the 3DS, DSi and Wii equivalents all have some content to consider. Is any of it going to get your year started with a bang?
Details of this week's European update have arrived, and they're perhaps not the fireworks we'd hope for at this time of year. There's still some variety across all platforms and a long awaited app arrives, though the price may surprise some.
