Following the announcement of Dead Island sequel Riptide during this year’s E3, publisher Deep Silver told GWG that a trailer is being readied that won’t just tug on gamers’ heart-strings, “it’ll play Tears In Heaven on them”.
We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.
but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!
Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games
Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
Josiah Motley of KnowTechie writes: "I love video game trailers. While I don’t believe they are an integral part of a game’s success (especially these days), there’s something about a well-produced trailer that really just reminds me why I like video games."
It’s the music. It’s perfect. I agree with this for sure, it is well choreographed….unfortunately the game didn’t live up to the trailer.
Have you ever seen any of the MGS 3 or MGS 4 trailers? Those blow this out of the water for me.
Kevin F. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Many of the best Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Some even with some enhanced visuals and performance. Unfortunately, not every game from the Xbox 360 library has received this glorious feat of being able to be played on more modern Microsoft consoles."
The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
Stories from that website need to stop getting published. It's full of completely false, misleading, and terrible information.
It tries to be funny, but it doesn't even come close to being humorous.
Hopefully this time it will have proper this gen graphcs,a lot less gltichy, a better story because let's be honest they can't do much worst and better mission structure with a proper map system that works and not tell you where you going next or enemies disappearing during missions
S while dead island was good game the sequel could actually be much much better
If its wasn't fir the trailer I don't think dead island would have done that well in hype factor, that trailer promised a lt but the game delivered very little
this game is soooo bad.
It didnt deserve that awesome trailer....
I think the first one was great. But is this a sequal or what?
First of all, this article is crap.
Second of all, I really enjoyed dead island...at first. I could handle the sub par graphics and glitchy gameplay for the first 10 hours or so then it just started to get too repetitive and it felt like the story wasn't really progressing at the right pace so I just moved on to another game and ended up selling it.
Still, Id be willing to give the next one another chance. If it had splitscreen co-op, I might even buy it on day one for that reason alone. Too bad the trailer was so misleading - lets hope the next one improves on what could still be a really cool story.
