Destructoid:
As a general rule, licensed games tend to be poorly made, slapdash affairs looking to cash in on a brand rather than build upon it. Game development is a business first and foremost, after all, so why bother creating a superior product for an established brand when an inferior one will sell just as well?
As cynical as that sounds, however, there is always cause for hope. Every so often, a movie tie-in manages to exceed expectations and become a worthy piece of entertainment in its own right. Is The Expendables 2 Videogame one of those precious few pleasant surprises? Nope. Not in the slightest.
This is a action tower defense game themed after the latest The Expendables 3 movie. Control Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and other huge movie stars to shoot down the incoming waves of enemies. Build turrets and Gatling guns to help in reducing the the life of the enemies as they run along the path.
Ugh. I was really hoping for a more improved version of the arcade game Ubisoft made.
It was derivative and base, but it had potential. Better controls, more playable characters, some major bug fixes and better set-pieces and AI and it could have been something. This... goodness, this is jut not the Expendables at all.

Hello everybody. We are very happy to announce that the PlayStation Store Halloween Sale starts tomorrow (24th October). There are some frighteningly good offers across a whole range of great titles but please see below for a full list of the content available.
Gonna get myself HoTD 3&4 me thinks. Kind of expected Infamous Festival of Blood to be on sale for Halloween, oh well!
Anyone in Europe who hasn't picked up Beyond good and evil HD yet HAS TO do so now. It was pretty unforgivable to not buy it for the full price but at that price you should have your console taken away for refusing to buy it.
