After writing off all things Transformers until the next gen, Justin Lacey finally resolves his differences enough to give War For Cybertron a shot.
With the recent successes of Xbox's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, even Hasbro wants to see the classic Transformers games come to Game Pass.
C'mon MS find those games on whatever hard drive they're hidden on.
There's a few transformers games from Activision I missed out or didn't finish. Would love to come back to them at some point if they appear on GP.

Does Activision still have the rights? I thought they lost them, and that was why the Cybertron games left stores.
I didn't really look into it at the time.
I thought so too, but these quotes come directly from the Hasbro panel. It seems Hasbro is willing and able to work with them again. At least in a retro capacity.

This is correct. I dunno if MS can/ would go back to Hasbro and try and negotiate a new deal.
But even if they could I doubt they would, same with Spider-Man.

although this game looks good i dont agree with activisions buisiness practices, so ill pass.
This game is awesome. played the demo last night, and aside from the dated texture rendering from the Unreal Engine, the graphics are a sight to behold when huge rooms open up, or when intense multiplayer battles unfold.
Really liked War for Cybertron. I loved it, and from what I've played of Fall of Cybertron, I know its going to be epic. Hate Activision all u want, but don't skip this game if you're a Transformers fan.

I cant get enough of this demo
Finally a game were good players are rewarded for having superior tactics and a superior aim, a game were i can freely move around the map without the fear of getting shot in the back by someone camping in a corner because i have the health to quickly dash out of the way and win in a gunfight with my superior aim.
Its nice to have a skill gap again although most may not agree I like how im able to actually able to take on multiple people and when someone sees me first they dont automatically win.
Say what you want about the graphics, the animations or the frame rate but this is basically a beta as the devs are using old code for testing various weapons etc for balancing as they said in an email reply to me.
No other shooter has offered me the variety or unique feel in playstyles that this one has at all.
The titan feels big heavy tough, plays that way to as you can take multiple hits, infiltrator plays totally different, small light, higher jump, more manouverability but has nothing on the titan in an upfront firefight so you have to be sneaky.
This game cant be compared to other shooters as they just dont come close in terms of class difference or variety in gameplay, the weapons are also fresh and interesting and offer a new take on old favourites.
