The team behind Asura's Wrath, .hack, and the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series of games is asking for suggestions from the fans.
Developer CyberConnect2 confirmed the incoming closure of its satellite office in Montreal, Canada. At the end of July, it'll be shutting down its only other office beyond the main one stationed in Fukuoka, Japan.
The Montreal office opened in 2016, 20 years after the developer was originally founded. Its statement noted that the second office "led CyberConnect2 on a creative journey in the development of tools and cutting-edge techniques used in creating games."
No mention was made in the developer's statement about if it will offer any severance or transitional help to those about to be laid off.
CyberConnect2 boss Hiroshi Matsuyama has confirmed that a new .hack game is in development! in its 20th anniversary concert.

I wouldn't mind some cleaned up remasters of the originals. Those are the ones I have real nostalgia for.
It was always mind boggling they released the .hack g.u. but never the originals. To this day I still never opened them waiting on the originals
I'd like the original games to be released again, I couldn't get into them the first time around.

From Nintendo Everything: "CyberConnect2 has a pretty major game coming out in just a few weeks. The company has been known for working on major manga / anime properties like Naruto and Dragon Ball, but will soon be releasing Fuga: Melodies of Steel. In addition to being a new entry in the Little Tail Bronx series, it’s also the very first self-published title from CyberConnect2."

Narutimate Hero's ability to equip anybody with any basic Jutsu. I used to have Haruno Sakura with the Chidori. Also would be nice for multiple Jutsu.
4 people in a single room battle (ability to situate teams) and change your target with R3 or something. I remember the old Naruto game on the Gamecube was a blast. I'd always go 3 against me. Obviously this might need a radar for some players to be able to keep up.
Multiple Costumes per character. I know this might be asking a lot but if I've seem 'em wear it, I want the option to play it.
Generic Jounin character slot where I can key on it to bring up a list of Jounin skins on the same play style like Izumo, Kotetsu, Hayate, and Genma.
Ability to pick their Awakenings from the get go. Maybe not for online (or optional online, why spoil somebody's fun after all) but I play the game offline and the AI didn't seem to complain when I used their awakenings.
Custom Characters like the newer DBZ game implemented.
I just send a suggestion for them to make a dynasty warriors naruto game. Playing different characters in their side of the story in the war arc. Hope Tecmo Koei and CyberConnect2 team up to make it happen.
