One of my favorite things to do at QuakeCon is stumble across the labyrinth of cables, PCs, and people contained within the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) room, searching for the most noteworthy, custom rigs.
S since 1996 to date, QuakeCon has become a sort of pilgrimage for fans of video games. Although in the last three years it was further commercialized after the studio Zenimax bought id Software, QuakeCon has continued to attract a large number of gamers. This year's event broke another record for consecutive number of visitors, which during four days of the fair in Dallas were nearly 10,000.
Kick off Labor Day by joining Lyfeliek and Hardlydan for game talk and fun! This time, The Gamesmen discuss speeding tickets, talk to Yodathe3rd about his experience at Quakecon, then wrap it all up with listener correspondence!
