Attention PAYDAY crew! Wolfpack, the first PSN downloadable content for PAYDAY: The Heist, is coming to North America next Tuesday, August 7th. We’ve been busy casing some new jobs for you, with Wolfpack featuring two never-before-seen epic heists – Undercover and Counterfeit. The Undercover heist forces players to drive away the pesky police interrupting a back alley deal, while the Counterfeit heist pressures players to use silenced weapons to keep whistle-blowing civilians from escaping an underground money printing gig. If they tell the 5-0, they’ll blow the whole operation!
Free PC games this week include XCOM Enemy Unknown, Payday: The Heist, Aliens vs Predator 2000, Crash Time 2 and more.
In celebration of reaching 1.5 million members on Payday 2's official Steam community group, Overkill is releasing Payday: The Heist completely free for 24 hours starting October 16th, 2 days ahead of the originally planned date - October 18th.
The game will be free to download/keep, and will stay in your Steam library as long as you claim it within the specified 24 hour window.
So last time, the Payday 2 community was just short of 1,000,000 players and we were given 3 months roughly to gain 500,000 more! A rather large and daunting task, one I didn’t believe was possible, I am, however, beginning to change my tune on that.
I'll be glad to see an introduction of MORE infamy bonuses. It's still majorly unfinished.
A PS4 version would of been prime after the Hardline delay, but no one expected that.
It is but CrimeFest might not actually apply to PS4 & X1 so I didn't feel comfortable adding those channels to this article.
Some of it will arrive probably - free DLC, masks etc. But Overkill are being slow on Console DLC's, this might be fought with the CrimeWave Editions (just package the DLC with the base game) - but other things in CrimeFest won't make the Consoles e.g. Free Payday The Heist, that's soley PC I believe so console owners won't prosper from that.
EDIT - correction Payday The Heist IS on PS3 but that still wont reach X360, PS4 or X1 most probably.
Really love Payday... just wish I had some people to play it with that aren't too serious. Just kick back and drink some beers and BS with an occasional "Hey, I'm going to ____ objective... cover me". Feel free to friend me if you're down.

Payday is truly one of the most overlooked games this gen IMO.

This is perfect timing because me and my friends just took the plunge on Payday. We have been grinding it out for about 2 weeks or so and having a LOT of fun. Guess one of us is gonna have to cough up the cash for the DLC!!!
