Professor Pym and the Secret of Steam is one of those games that gives nothing away by it title. We thought we’d be in for some kind of mystery, puzzle-solving game but instead it’s a vertical platformer built around a loose storyline. Does it live up to it’s rather intriguing title or is this a case of smoke and mirrors?
GameStyle - Professor Pym is a simple puzzle platformer that sees players trying to collect bolts by jumping too and from various wheels. It is a simple concept but one that does a good job of keeping players interested and entertained.
STP: If you love the look of anything steampunk and are looking for a new puzzler for your arsenal, take Pym for a spin.
OXCGN:
"Whenever I think of puzzle games I think Tetris (boring!) but this game impressed me a lot.
Professor Pym and the Secret of Steam from developer Naoplay is what I would call a puzzle platformer.
From jumping off walls to a moving wheel and then on to another, or missing your jump and drowning in toxic steam, this game has all the elements and more that a puzzle platformer game needs on smartphones.
Better yet, the first 10 levels are free."
I'm amazed how much fun I can have on my iPhone. The trouble is locating which of the billions of apps are fun!
