Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., has today revealed their first videogame title, set for release in the near future on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Typically known for their extensive range of videogame accessories, Mad Catz are keen to get into the videogame publishing market, revealing the pre-order deals available for the upcoming flight combat videogame; Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII.
XMNR: Even though it is Saturday, the Black Friday Lightning Deals at Amazon for games continue to truck along. Today sees short time specials on PS3, Xbox 360 and DS games like Halo 4, Prototype 2, Dungeon Siege III and more along with the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect Holiday Bundle that comes with two free games.
"Mad Catz bundles its new AV8R Flightstick peripheral with a WWII flight sim"
Gaming Union: "Damage Inc. is a flight game which seems a little bit confused. Some strong attention to detail has been paid to some aspects of the game, like the historical accuracy. However, when it comes to the gameplay and mechanics, things start to fall down. There are numerous arcade elements thrown in there, but simulation elements also appear at other times, and it makes for a game that can get rather tedious sometimes. The controls also struggle, although the AV8R flight stick at least offers some respite. It's issues like this that shouldn't be there and stop Damage Inc. from being a solid game."
WW II again?
why so many games with this theme?
it's almost as many as zombies...
I would like to see another Vietnam game or perhaps a game kinda based on the Falklands war... something different for a change.
