Rockstar Games have revealed the news that they have closed down Rockstar Vancouver (the team that made Max Payne 3 and Bully.) But don't worry, this isn't another studio closure, the chaps have just been transferred over to Rockstar Toronto. Bully 2 in the making soon?
Inside Rockstar New England's attempt to develop a sequel to one of Rockstar's most-beloved cult classics and the crunch issues and layoffs that followed.
Well, way to ruin my New Years game informer.
Edit: Very interesting read behind Rockstar if you are a fan.
One of Rockstar's most fondly remembered games is PS2's Bully, but a sequel has just never materialised. Will we ever see one?
They could, but the generation that was raised by South Park and the Simpsons suddenly became sensitive.
I would play it if the story was just as good as RDR 2 I have Bully for PS2 and also bought it cheap for the XB360. But if Bully 2 came out I wouldn't be surprised if you have the parents groups getting all pissy about the game and start saying think of the children.
Talha Amjad writes: "Rockstar has not confirmed whether Bully 2 is coming out or not, but we can still talk about aspects and features of the game that we would like to see."
Bully was an awesome game so for sure their should be another one for this gen or next gen since we might be close to it already.
Bull just might be my favorite Rockstar game. Would definitely like to see another one. We are long overdue, if you ask me.
This would be great! I really hope Max Payne 3 sales don't discourage Rockstar from investing in sequels. A Bully 2 and Manhunt 3 would be at the top of that list. Besides, we all know a new Red Dead is in the works.
Oh, and this time - let's make Bully an M-rated game. :)
Im hoping they can continued Jimmy Hopkins lives in college, plus we can get more M rated stuff
We here hope Jimmy is in College as well. Hoepfully, the college turns into an University and has a much bigger campus and yes, M rated events would be nice, but it was still a very well polished game without it so don't expect TOO many M-rated scenarios. =]
