Originally scheduled to release on August 24th, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has now been delayed until October 9th. City Interactive gave no reason for the delay, but now the game is in the midst of the prime time for game buying this year as its release date places it right in between Resident Evil 6 and Dishonored.

Here are the best deals for this week
DSOGaming writes: "The latest PC UK retail, Steam Digital and Green Man Gaming charts have been revealed and as we can see, The Sims 4, ARK: Survival Evolved & Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 are this week’s best selling games in UK, on Steam and on GMG."
Rightfully so...
Except ARK is an early access, which either means it's either alpha or beta. Don't get me wrong! I'm looking forward to the game, it's on my wish list, but I will not pay money for something that is not fully complete.
Long gone are the days of "Free Beta."
If this game comes out within a month or 2 of RE6, Dishonoured, Call of Duty, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and the next Medal of Honor game, it's going to get lost in the shuffle. They should delay it to 2013 like the smarter people creating Bioshock Infinite did, and continue working on the game to make it perfect. Lets just say the first game was a glitch filled mess, and I can only suspect that's why they're releasing this game later and dropping the price. It's unfortunate as I had high hopes they would learn from their mistakes from the first one... oh well.
