TGC writes: As of late, HD Remakes are becoming commonplace in the video game industry. Some of these remakes allow gamers to sample games from generations gone by and may have been passed up first time around, such as the Ico and Shadow of The Colossus Collection. Some of these remakes however are little more than an easy way to generate some money for a studio, an example of this would be the Tomb Raider Trilogy. Last time I checked all three of these titles were already available on the current generation platforms, making any remake of them unnecessary. I guess these poor remakes are to be expected but there are a whole pile of games screaming to be up-resed so this series will highlight a few (let’s say six) that should be re-released with a new lick of paint.
Revisiting Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released on October 29, 2002, only a year after Grand Theft Auto: III. As hard as it is to imagine in an era that sees a decade go between releases, GTA games used to drop annually.
Game Rant Writes "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City turns 20 years old today, and many gamers will have fond memories of one of the open-world genre's pioneers."
Morrowind did a great job of open world in 2002 also but unfortunately Elder Scrolls has been diluted since then and hasn’t really progressed at all besides in the graphics department. Sad really .
Pretty sure that was GTA 3, and then it took san andreas to perfect it. San andreas is still one of my favorite games.
"A bumper crop of PlayStation titles make up October’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup. All these games will be available to play starting Tuesday, October 18. Without further ado, let’s dive in. Also added this month: The Medium, Dragon Quest Builders, Dragon Quest Heroes and more. "
Has vice city been fixed? If not it feels like a weird addition. Lots for Dragon Quests fans.
If you like assassins creed and Dragon Quest enjoy the multiple games.
Just plan on playing Medium and the Yakuza remasters right now.
Seems the PS Plus offer is running out of steam already.
Have they even added any new trials since launch?
