Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade is nearly upon us and it looks like it’s going to be a cracker this year. What better way to kick it off than with one of my favourite ways of procrastinating and injuring myself as a child, skateboarding. Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD (or THPSHD for short) is not just a run of the mill HD port of the original game but instead is a combination of the best bits of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 & 2, which were originally released in 2000 on the N64 and Dreamcast among other consoles.
PC Aficionado: "Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD will be taken down from Steam next week, on July 17. You can get it for 80 percent off now."
Neil writes "This week's Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale is now here and it brings you the chance to grab a number of discounted titles. But which are the best Xbox One and Xbox 360 offers on the table between the 31st May - 6th June 2016...and which are the worst?"
It's not a great sale and doesn't bode well for Battleborn being price cut already.
Here are this week’s games and add-on deals on the Xbox Games Store. Discounts are valid now through June 6th 2016.
I'm really looking forward to the HD remake of Tony Hawk...I loved those two games. The later games saw too many gimmicky additions that really added little to proceedings bar a few extra features to stick on the back of the box.
I'd like it to sell well too, maybe persuade Capcom to get off it's ass and remake Resident Evil 2 and 3 like they did with the first one and release all 3 in HD. Well, one can only dream.
