A full fledged Wii U console game with a solid online network where players can battle each other, go on quests, and create their own gyms and homes for people to visit. Something that can grow with DLC and user based events. Also would love to see online events in real world time. It needs a connected online community. And HD too please and the Controller used like a Pokedex.

black/white had a new story that revolved around people wanting to free pokemon.

true, and I was excited at first when I heard that. When I played the game however, I realized that it was just the same as before. N replaced Giovanni and Team Plasma replaced Team Rocket. I appreciate Gamefreak's effort though.

Idk what they can do without changing pokemon from turn based to action rpg(some people want this but not me.)
Maybe make a paper mario style battle system as an in between
Aslo people using ar ruining your game?

no there not unless there make illegal movesets or impossble stats etc it's fair game.

It's like saying that i have to walk every where because driving a car is "cheating"
(taking shortcuts is not cheating) there is no unfair advantage even if you can't afford ar you can get things like pokesav...

3D fricking graphics... I' mean seriously the ENTIRE Pokemon games should look like pokedex 3d with moves too.
I mean 3d models for places, Pokemon and trainers
The 3ds supports 2- 8 gb cards... More exploration go from region to region ... Choose which region you want to start in, I'd pick sinnoh, then move around

The vast majority of pokemon fans would probably disagree as shown by sales numbers. The franchise has had just about the same formula for over 10 years and black and white still sold 14 million copies, and black and white 2 sold over 1 million in less than 48 hours. whatever they are doing is working and tampering with it would be a very bad idea. It would be nice for them to ADD a good amount of new idea, but it needs to stay the same until the sales significantly drop.

I think most Pokemon fans do want something new.

omarzy4321d ago

No doubt about that, but what i was saying is that the formula is not turning people away from the next game in the franchise even if they want a change in the game so why change the formula and create a double edged sword when Nintendo still has complete control of the current sword?

The only issue they'll be encountering is the laziness and incompetence of whatever dev is remaking. Be it GF themselves or the dev behind DP remakes.

Pokémon Black and White Doesn't Need a Remake - It Needs a Port

There isn't enough to improve in Pokémon Black and White to justify remaking it. Instead, Game Freak should make a port of these beloved games.

Antnee534515d ago

They did this with diamond and pearl and those are the worst pokémon games to date because it's worse than the ds counterparts

I'd rather they combine this and the sequel as one game, do it so the post game content is Black and White 2.

While I think B&W 2 were good we should have still gotten Pokemon Grey, some people liked holding on for a more complete beefy package compared to the originals.
