Adam from Awesome Games writes: 'The reaction to the 3DS XL has exposed a worrying trend amongst the gaming community. Why can’t gamers ever look at the positives these days? Instead of clutching at straws in an attempt to highlight unwarranted negatives. The XL has better battery, bigger screens, an attractive price point, increased storage, a more functional design; but alas, clearly, all of these positive points are seemingly trivial.'
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.

People are stupid wanting a built in 2nd analog atm.
Why should people pay $25-40 more for a 3DSXL (example $224.99 or 239.99) for a built in 2nd analog when many of the games they will play won't even use it, it makes complete sense for them to have people buy it separately, it actually saves many buyers money, rather then calling them "greedy", think twice about all of this. This would be a different story if many of the 3DS games that came out used a 2nd analog, so don't be surprised in a few years when the 3DS lite comes out if it has one analog as well.
At the end of the day $199.99 is more attractive then $224.99 or higher, it's better for ppl that play those few select games to dish out the extra money then have EVERYONE have to dish out. Anyone that disagrees clearly wants their 3DS to have 2 analogs, a swiss knife and a drink holder with no extra expensive at all.
Not having a second analog is not a good thing, nobody can argue with that, but its pretty late for nintendo to add one on the 3ds xl because then developers well develop games built around that and those 17 million old owners will be left out unless they buy the CPP.
A bigger screen is hardly a good thing if the resolution is still the same. The pixel density will be even lower.
In the air fights, maybe. On the ground, and using the R button to dodge... I think I would do pretty well!
You have to admit that the stylus is horrible to turn around, while I'll gladly admit that the stylus is more accurate for aiming. Sooo.... maybe if they came up with a stylu that has a c-pad on it?
Second analog? I dont Care!
Two analogs are suitable to action games like ps3/X360 style.
For action games i have my powerfull PC!
3DS is for quick match of Mario games when a go to work or in the lunch time!
