Gamesta.com receives news of another RPG trying to elbow its way into the crowd. Legends of Aethereus prides itself on being a PC game for PC gamers, taking a stand against 'watered-down' console experiences.
Indie Gala have tried many different things during their time making bundles and one of their more recent endeavors has been working with the site ‘Capsule Computers’ to make weekly bundles. This one, being their fourth weekly, showcases a number of Steam titles and one Desura title. The bundle is currently only $1.99 (yes, really!) but will later shoot up to a $3.49 price, meaning the earlier you get in, the better the overall discount.
Binh Nguyen of SideQuesting writes:
"Legends of Aethereus from Three Gates is the first game that we have to sit back and think what it is trying to be. At best it is a very generic crafting-heavy RPG that may not offer as much as its Kickstarter marketing seemed to sell us on. At worst -- well, its certainly not the worst game in the world."
The Elder Scrolls veteran looking for their next great RPG adventure isn’t exactly left wanting for choice when it comes to Steam. A quick genre search brings up a list of literally hundreds of results, with relatively unknown indie titles mixed in with the big names like Borderlands and Dark Souls.
