Habbo Hotel, a social game for teens, is back online in three countries after shutting down earlier this month amidst reports of pornographic chat targeted at underage users.
Today on Pocket, NichBoy is joined by Radmonkehh to talk about games that scarred them as children!
I don't know if it was mentioned in the vid, but DMC3 was my first DMC and I remember feeling a bit scared by the dark, gothic atmosphere and the little noises in the background such as the one that sounded like the spirits of children laughing. It actually was giving me a bit of anxiety along with the sounds the demons would make because I was just a kid, but I remember loving every second of the game since it was just awesome that it was able to pull me in like that and actually make me so uneasy haha
Do the terms “falling furni”, “DTTF” and, perhaps with a knot at the pit of your stomach, “autokick”, ring any bells?
If so, it’s more than likely you’re one of the millions of teenagers of the early-to-mid noughties who were sucked into the online virtual world of Habbo Hotel, which marks 15 years of continued service this weekend.
