Gaming Update: An In-Depth Look at City Interactive's Enemy Front @ E3 2012

Gaming Update's CM Boots-Faubert takes an in-depth look at the upcoming WWII Shooter slash Action-Adventure slash RPG game Enemy Front from City Interactive, an original take on the classic WWII adventure offering gamers a view of the war in Europe that is very different from the usual focus.

Enemy Front offers gamers a mystery to be solved within the path of the traditional action-shooter, eschewing the usual D-Day and major battles focus for the road less traveled, which in the case of Enemy Front means following the clues on an exciting journey through France, Poland, and Germany, all the while experiencing historically accurate confrontations with elite German units and local resistance organizations.

In addition to offering gamers a historically accurate romp through parts of Europe that are not usually included in the genre, Enemy Front offers a unique opportunity to find and use an armory of historically accurate weapons that all by itself makes the game worth playing.

Its showing at E3 2012 served as the opening salvo for most games journos, largely due to the fact that City Interactive has been very closed-mouth about this title, and the fact that a major element behind its design and creation is none other than famed game designer Stuart Black.

Join CM Boots-Faubert in this in-depth look at Enemy Front and what it will offer gamers when it lands on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in the first half of 2013.

Cex Review- Enemy Front

Sam Terry writes- Set in WWII, Enemy Front puts you in the role of Richard Hawkins, an anti-fascist war correspondent who finds himself caught up in the Resistance. Enemy Front is a visually beautiful game, and makes the most out of last gen technology. Unfortunately, a short campaign, poor voice acting, and a lack of online features let the game down.
