A recent article on Gamasutra included details on a new method Rockstar have been using to deal with cheaters playing Max Payne 3 online. Instead of smacking them round the face with a well deserved ban hammer, Rockstar have opted to deploy a new technique, hackers against hackers. Players that are discovered using any form of an illegal advantage, such as modded files or exploits, will be thrown to the dogs in a special server group known as “Cheaters Pool”. First time cheaters will be placed here until their case can be reviewed, but if they’re caught doing the dirty again, they’re cast aside like yesterdays paper and banned for good. Although this appears like great news, could it cause more damage than good?
Modder ‘alexsavvy’ has released a must-have mod for Max Payne 3 that is a love letter to all fans of the original game.
GF365: "These are our picks for the ten best games to complete 100%. This list includes good games that don't feel like chores to complete."
I got 80% trophy completion on Ragnarok but left a few of the battles. Will come back to it one day.
Where is Horizon Zero Dawn?? where is Ghost of Tsushima?? I just got my Platinum on HZD and is now trying to finish the Frozen Wild expansion. so much care and love went into that game and it really shows. I especially adore the lore and have sunk many hours listening to the logs and reading journals. the back story is great and the gameplay is awesome. can't wait to replay on the hardest difficulty on NG+. next in my list would be to finish GoTsushima
Okay the title of article should be top 10 , 3rd person games to complete 100 percent. Nine 3rd person games and 1 racing game on this list .
If you've been waiting for Max Payne vibes to hit your turntable, you're in luck. Noise rock band HEALTH have a Max Payne 3 vinyl soundtrack update.
One of the best soundtracks in gaming. This band is incredible and I’ve seen them live twice now. Absolutely fantastic band
Two wrongs don't make a right in this case, one esentric hacker will just come back with bigger guns and probably shut down rockstar.
Short answer - no.
Long answer, even if it creates a "cheater's arms race", the cheaters can go play other cheaters, and people who play fair can have a mostly unspoiled experience. Yes there will be false positives, but FFS, there are false positives *now*. The choice isn't between "the cheaters's pool" and "perfection". The choice is between "the cheater's pool" and "banning".
Why cause more damage why because butt hurt hackers have to fight against eachother?
Hell i pay a ticket to watch that front row seats.
ROCKSTAR THIS IS WHAT TO DO bring back a street racing game called uh i dunno MIDNIGHT CLUB it has to be just like MC DUB or 2 not like LA cuz that felt ok but not as good oh and less super cars more tuners cuz EA and their Most Wanted is just a burnout successor FAIL
