CNN: E3 2013 may reveal last generation of consoles?

Games critic Johnny Minkley reviews the E3 convention offerings of Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony. But at the of his review he makes a very bold prediction.

He was pretty spot on for most of it, but I don't know why he said the last console. It's not time for that, mainly because internet providers don't want it and can't handle the bandwidth. But considering the next gen could last another 10 years, you never know what could be worked out in the meantime. HHHMM

I was thinking "where the hell did this stupid rumor come from" and then I saw it was CNN attempting to talk about video games.....makes sense. Only thing worse would be Yahoo doing it, and they would make some stupid BS about Apple taking over the world while they were at it.

I doubt it. I think Consoles will stay due to more people owning consoles then gaming rigs and casuals most likely will stick to consoles since it's simple to use. Also not everyone has internet but some have consoles.

Console will never die I admit Nintendo could become the next Sega but I doubt it and the same thing could happen to Ms & Sony but they always gonna be gonna be a company out there who will find success with consoles.
