Exactly. EA comes out every single year talking about new engine this and that. New graphics, new this , new that bla bla bla. And every year since about 2005, they release a sub par Madden game. EA just plain sucks.

After they lost their competition each year (2K Sports due to NFL and EA licensing agreement), they stopped really caring about trying to make the best game they could, and went for making minor improvements and making more money.

Hopefully that contract runs out soon so we can get some actual improvements each year. (Wiki says EAs rights agreement runs out in 2013, hopefully its true)
