Dead Space™ 3 Official Announce Trailer - E3 2012

Crash-landed on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, the pair must comb the harsh environment for raw materials and scavenged parts. Isaac will then put his engineering skills to the ultimate test to create and customize weapons and survival tools. The ice planet holds the key to ending the Necromorph plague forever, but first the team must overcome avalanches, treacherous ice-climbs, and the violent wilderness. Facing deadlier evolved enemies and the brutal elements, the unlikely pair must work together to save mankind from the impending apocalypse.

You are missing a great experience. MP wasn't anything on DS2, but the SP campaigns are quite remarkable.

man deadspace is over rated, the game was fun, not remarkable. im glad you enjoyed it so much though.

i will be waiting for this to be 20 bucks, nothing impressive at all, just another short, not scary easy horror game.

The first two games were awesome, this is a day one buy for me.

Play Dead space 2 on its MAX difficulty with no check points and only 3 saves allowed then tell me how many times you shit your pants when any necromorph can kill you in 1 hit and you loose 5 hours of progress if you die.

Its not Dead Space, im a bit disappointed I was looking forward to this game more than any others and it looks like Lost planet a lot more than Dead Space.

Gears of space 3 too much action no horror. Where is the Horror like in dead space 1 do all these publishers now just cater towards the kids that cant go 2 seconds without shooting something in the face.

Drop in drop out coop makes me nervous but as long as the coop partner is not with you when you play alone then I will be happy. Im excited and terrified at the same time

I, along with most others, were pretty afraid that Dead Space 2 was going to be way more action orientated at the expense of scares. Thankfully, I was wrong and DS2 was still pretty terrifying.

I got the same feeling with this game, and I hope that just like with DS2 I will be proven wrong. I absolutely love these games, and I don't want it to veer to far away from it's core. These devs seem smart enough to know that it's the horror element that sets this apart from other third person shooters.

The setting is certainly great though.

It truly is sad when the result is far worse than the predictions. IT LITERALLY is RESIDENT SPACE [evil] 3 right there. Or DEAD OF WAR 3 as I like to call it. RE6 had more horror elements than this. I'm so sad to see it fell wayside just to appeal to the novelty that does not care.

You naysayers represent a small percentage of whats wrong with the gaming community! You all should read the GI preview to get a much better understanding of whats going on! The game really is something special and its just amazing how far the series has gotten!

There is nothing Resident Evil or Gears of War about this! So what if your character is a bit more nimble! So what if there is OPTIONAL co-op that you can CHOOSE to play! The core mechanics are still in tact and you'll still get your scares it just isn't cheap scares due to gameplay decisions to intentionally cripple your character and flood the screen with with enemies to give you a sense of fear and desperation!

I cannot wait for this game! You can either have an open mind and judge the game after you play it or think the developers made a bad game based on a 2 min action trailer showing your cutscenes and tidbits of gameplay! >_>

I wont judge it to harshly as its just a small tease of the game but this seems like the totally wrong direction. Its just like RE5. People bash RE for co-op and say "but we still have deas space", well not anymore. Co-op doesnt mesh with survival horror. I dont like the planet. The space craft/stations were like the mansion in RE. It seems too bright and too many enemies with guns. It may be the most amazing game ever but so far it seems theyre going even further than the mostly action DS2. DS2 was an amazing game but doesnt come close to the 1st in my eyes.
