Looks like Konami has plans to fully blow this game out during Nintendo's E3 2012 media briefing. We'll be getting a full trailer then, hopefully with gameplay.

man the 3DS line-up is getting stronger than ever!
perfect time to announce a lite 3ds.

Godchild10204355d ago (Edited 4355d ago )

Sad to say it seems like the Vita is getting no third party support. Hopefully things will change at E3.

I guess this is another game I will play on my 3DS. I can't wait for Castlevania:Los 2, might have to pick up the first.

At kamikaze. I know, but it sucks at the same time. I can't complain though I have both systems. And the 3DS has a bigger audience than the Vita.

Kamikaze1354355d ago

Well it took the 3DS about a year to finally start getting a good number of decent games from 3rd party developers. Same goes with practically every system and I don't think things will be any different with the Vita.

ozstar4355d ago

@Kamikaze135, not true. It took 3DS about 3-6 months, depending on Japan/USEU release.

@Godchild1020
As for the Vita, I think we should wait for Sony conference. I am sure they will have tons of great news for vita owners

People also complained about the lack of 3DS games (at launch).

@dark-hollow
I like your posts but this time I want to burn you. It's not a right time for a new 3DS! Maybe an announcement next year.... It's too soon and the 3DS is already selling very well, there is a lot of great softwares (first and third parties) coming to the system this year.

Nintendo needs to use the 3DS lite next year in order to boost sales. There is no need for it right now.

@Hisiru
Nintendo needs to put a second analog stick ASAP. 3DS is getting great games, but they are restricted to only one analog stick, and the add-on is horrible. There are already few games that use it like Kid Icarus, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Monster Hunter (in Japan), etc and will surely have more coming soon.

It is like the Wii Motion Plus. It was supposed to be there since the beginning. The sooner they get over with that problem, the easier will be able to deal with the problem. The 3DS might have sold a lot already, but if they announce a new one with two analogs, then people will buy it, and the people who already bought it, might think of getting it again. Nintendo could even do a trading system of some sort for early adopters.

@Hisiru.

i dont think its too early for a revision, especially when the original ds lite was announced after 13-14 months after launch.

its good to keep the momentum going on.
couple that with NSMB2 and the 3DS sales would skyrocket!

I'm still not sure how Kojima Ayami's Simon turned into that ape looking guy they have in this...

I mean...You can still see her design for Trevor a bit but not the Simon.

Korda4355d ago

Am I the only one that noticed it said DS NOT 3DS?

Lord_Sloth4355d ago

After reviewing the trailer you are correct. It said DS instead of 3DS.

Yall still messed up your opportunity by not making castlevania lords of shadow 2 much much better

Had strong foundation to build on yet the 2nd game wasn't as good

Snookies122113d ago

Completely agree with that, Lords of Shadow 1 was fantastic. I was so excited for the second game, and was going to pre-order it. Thank god I never did...

jeremyj29132113d ago

That blame goes to Konami. Look up the interviews with Mercury Steam. Shows why all the stuff with Kojima wasn't all that surprising to me.

Segata2113d ago

I'd love to see them make another 3DS Metroid or an HD 2.5D Metroid on Switch.

Venoxn4g2112d ago

I wouldnt even mind an enhanced 3ds Metroid port for switch from them
