Batman dose indeed, if you read the comics Batman has very detailed plans to kill every single member of the Justice league incase they go rouge, Batman kicks his ass multiple times, read some of the comics there great I'd start with "The Dark Knight Returns" oh and this book has nothing to do with Batman, but Old Man Logan is just epic!. If you only ever read two comics in your life read those two you won't regret it try Amazon or Ebay if you have no comics book stores.

anyway, batman isn't all that. the recent games are cool, the 1st dark knight movie sucked, the 2nd one they just got lucky, I hate how its an action movie with horrible fight choreography, looks like a toddler was crawling around with the camera while they were filming the fights.

and the new movie looks bad.

I do really hate superman though. super speed, strength, invincible, red speedos over his tights, secret identity hidden by a strand of hair, I mean atleast batmans costume got an upgrade. Superman needs to grow up

Second the batman movies sucked? BS to that, the first Batman was great, you are just hating on it. Second, the Dark Knight did not "get lucky" it was a very well made film by a talented director, as well as a proper choice for the Joker. And TDKR looks great, love the fact they are giving Bane a proper movie treatment rather than the moronic stooge he is always made to look like.... these movies have great stories

So we are going to ignore Jean Gray right? The person who would tear someone with her mind alone? I am well brought with Batman, but atleast I have basic knowledge of most superheros on marvel and dc. Hell give anyone a green glowing rock and you bring super man to his knees. And if any superhero was to grow up, it should be spiderman.

Also no wonder you don't like the Batman movies, because they are not about the action. Batman is a drama... not the avengers where everything is blowing up. The avengers was fan service to marvel fans, but had a paper thin plot. I don't want to spoil the movie, but the character interactions were good, the plot not so much.

The avengers may out box office the Dark knight, but the dark knight will end up being the better film hands down

How is Superman vs Batman a fair fight if Batman can't use the thing that makes him a formidable opponent, which is his brain. I love both of these heroes but Batman is more intelligent and intelligence is a superpower in itself. Without intelligence Tony Stark could not have created his Ironman suit for example.

You seem to imply that Superman is some type of rock head. Without kryptonite Batman stands no chance. If Superman knows that they are to fight, he could kill Batman without ever getting close enough for the kryptonite. Silly idea for Batman.

They always hold superman back in fights. They like never really have him take advantage of his speed/heat vision / super breath often.

The more appropriate head to head match up is Superman vs Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, or Martian Manhunter. Writers wouldn't be forced to come up with something crafty to give weaker opponents a chance of winning.

Kryptonite is an issue..Superman would fail instantly if Batman had some handy. Even without it, Batman would probably last longer than the average human hero.

Superman did die in one of the comics too. I don't recall hearing Batman dying, although he came close plenty of times.

Ideally if batman were to face superman one on one within an empty locked room superman would win. But batman always plans ahead and out thinks his opponents that what makes him a genius and what has kept him alive countless times. Batman using kryptonite may be looked at as cheating but that's what makes batman so threatening. He's willing to take any opportunity to stop his opponents if he seems them as a threat (besides killings them) while superman isn't.

no they don't do that in comics because thats not supermans character, You need to remember who these two are first and know that most fights rely on a physiological aspect not just strength and speed or in this case super powers. Superman wouldn't charge in like a mad animal he has respect and honor and fights fair, he is certainly no dummy but he ain't Batman. Batman dose what ever it takes to win and is always five steps ahead of everyone he has found ways to bring super villains who are probably stronger than Superman to their knees when even the most powerful super hero couldn't, but not with his fists but his intelligence. On the most important front Batman wins with his physiological readyness over superman. We must to remember that they not have only fought over the years but have worked together to make a hell of a team.

In one of those comics, maybe Hush, Batman claims to always have Kryptonite in his utility belt, as a just in case. So it's not even a contest really. Unless Superman dive bombs him from space with no warning, assuming he could even get close enough to not feel the effects of his crack rock, then Batman handles him. This topic is wrong. It IS fairly obvious.
