Earlier this month, our sources told us that Dead Space 3 will feature co-op. That report described the game’s co-op partner as “a man with a gnarly scar on his face, an engineering RIG of his own, and glowing red eyes peering from his helmet.” Now, it looks like we may have our first look at him.
If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Yeah I agree. Make a dead space 3, but have an original story/setting. They’ve proven they can do the game justice, and I think they could evolve 2 in a good direction, keeping a similar tone. I’d love s Dead Space 2 and 3 though. The remake was fantastic. Top tier remake, up there with RE2.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.

Although, where it does make up for it is one of the best cooperative shooters on the market, even after all this time. Do I recommend playing this game ten years later? Hell yes. But make sure your expectations are in the right place. It has a lot of problems that bring it down."

They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.
Day 1, I dont really care for co-op because my friends never buy the same games I do.

Drop in/out...I don't care this is notb the type of game for co-op. Expect action levels to rise, theres no possible way to make a scary co-op game. If DS had co-op then I wouldn't of found it scary, people focus more in talking to their friends then whats on the screen, it's like you dstract your self from getting that tense, scared feeling and if you don't feel like that then those "jumpy" moments won't give you much of a shock because you;ll be too busy talking about what you did a school/work with your friend

if i had to choose id rather have co-op then some lame ass tacked on multiplayer like in 2
Oh lord. Co-op is always something I can stand behind. Everything is always better with friends. I just hope that doesn't mean people who want to enjoy playing alone will get the short end of the stick.
I have faith in the developers though. And a game with co-op always allows me to buy them easier. If it ends up being a single-player (and competitive-MP) only game, I'll probably wait for the price to drop to at least $30-$40.
