oh so your the guy who disagreed with me I agree the games on gba and ds were amazing traditional castlevania games and i would love to see more of them but lords of shadow is a different kind of castlevania that i would also like to see more of

Mercury Steam have butchered Castlevania and now they get the handheld games as well?

I have been with this franchise since the first one, and saddly I and finished with the games it would seem. Mercury Steam have killed the story by creating their own story line, and now we don't even get the Japanese based handheld games.

We'll get 2D Japanese ones again eventually I'm sure. the story is pretty convoluted though.

I'd like to see a new 2D cv as much as anyone, but only if it doesn't feel like a regurgitation of the past titles. They walk a fine line so maybe its good theyll have a long time to work on new ideas.

MSteam took a game about facing Dracula's evil army as a member of a family dedicated to stopping him and turned you into some bloke who ran into Pan, Pixies, an annoying ass Chupocabra, and faced Satan in a cloud like G String at the end. They have no clue what the hell they're doing!

it was but the handhelds are what kept the SOTN style games going.. Theyve definitely butchered the handhelds version.. Castlevania is why i bought a 3ds cuz i knew that they would make it but this is an abomination.. PS2 character models with PS1 environments? I will never accept this.. I loved PS3 LOS but the handhelds version couldve been the ultimate castlevania in 2D sprites & 3D layered backgrounds.. But mercury steam is too damn lazy to hand draw it all..

There goes hand drawn greatness.. It might be somewhat cool on 3ds but keep it traditional on there & save the polygons for the big boys.. I was hoping to one day play one that topples SOTN in 2D with vibrant colors & 3D layered platforming but whatever

I'll most likely pass on this, as I prefer the hand drawn sprites and I prefer Shanoa over anybody else. Plus I hate westernized art styles
