IGM writes: "A Virus Named Tom’s neat little twist on this age-old design is twofold: firstly, there’s no ‘Exit’ to link up with. Instead, you’re expected to connect ‘Source’ to every pipe piece on the grid in one continuous path. And secondly, to make that happen, you’ve got to move your little virus dude (the titular Tom) around the grid while dodging the patrolling anti-virus ‘spiders’, each of whom can take a massive chunk out of your limited time upon contact and likely cause the aforementioned cursing."
I Play PS Vita writes "A Virus Named TOM is recommended for all who love hard and challenging puzzle games."
BNR: This has been quite an interesting week for game news- coming up hot on the heels of the Rift, the HTC Vive was launched- much like the competition, however, it encountered some shipping woes. In spite of the troubles, however, those who do have their Vives are enjoying an awesome launch lineup of games- we talk about some of those in today’s episode. Additionally, we got some fresh information on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake- check it out!
The action-puzzle game A Virus Named TOM is out today for the PS Vita in North America and Europe digitally via the PlayStation Network. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the game for free in April 2016 as part of the free games lineup.
