Out of the Park Baseball 13 Review | GameStooge

GameStooge reviews the venerable baseball management sim.

Excerpt: "The other major change was the implementation of real-time simulation, where other games would be simmed as you manage a game, lending a realistic feel to it as you see real-time updates of other games in progress. PC Gamer - Out of the Park Baseball 13 review

PC Gamer - Out of the Park Baseball 13 is a baseball management simulator in the mould of Football Manager. I know a lot about management; less about baseball. With a greenhorn’s naivety I created a manager in my image and selected the ‘Start Unemployed’ option.

Out of the Park Baseball '13 Review - Gaming Nexus

From the review: "Overall, Out of the Park ’13 made a few improvements over its predecessor, but the meat of the game is pretty much the same game, which is actually a good thing. If you already have Out of the Park ’12, $39.99 might be too much for a few visual and AI improvements. If you don’t have a prior OOTP game, OOTP13, much like last year’s game, is an excellent baseball management simulator."
