Nokia: "If you want your N-Gage games on your new phone, you'll have to buy them all over again."

All About N-Gage reports: "Nokia's next gen N-Gage platform potentially ushers in a new age of high quality connected phone gaming. However, it now seems that there's a rather large flaw at the heart of the platform: if you upgrade to a new phone, you cannot transfer any of your N-Gage games from the old phone. The only way to move your N-Gage library is to buy all your games again."

2 - Great for New & bad for old (anit it always tho)
this is a great leap forward for Mobile games if Nokia can continue to support and get more REAL Devs to make game for it.

Good Idea to Keep this attempt entirely in the Digital Download Market

Shame about the Old games not copying over Tho as its only data anyway :s

I just thought about buying a N96 when it comes out because of Metal Gear Solid Mobile, but that decision is crap. What's the problem with allowing me to move the software from on cellphone to another. Yeah, I know it's because of pirating, but this **** hurts the honest customer.

5 - I don't understand why Nokia is willing to lose more money
I remember a time when everyone had Nokia phones. These days, I never see them. Are they more popular in Europe? LG, Samsung, and Motorola seem to be the big players these days. The idea of Nokia N-Gage is good on paper but the service can't begin to hope to complete against the likes of PSP and DS. Verizon doesn't carry Nokia phones as far as I know; I don't think I'm missing out. I am still bitter that Verizon turned down the i-phone.
