...by the time TS4 is released the PS3 will have entered it's exponential phase of growth, that being next year. The 360's second year has already shown a large growth in the unit sales from the previous year, the same thing will happen to the PS3.

If you disagree with me about the PS3 becoming more popular you're somewhat deluded because its popularity is already growing and after the price drop and new SKU the popularity will rise right through into late 2008, by that time the PS3 big-hitters will be available.

Seriously, Free Radical won't lose money with PS3 exclusivity for TS4 because the fanbase may be larger than the 360's by the time the game is ready (2009), plus they can push the system more which is something multiplat games just can't afford to do because of the 360 with the DVD9 and HDD issues.

Can't wait for TS4, sounds awesome! Love the Gears/Monkey logo for the game!

suprised no one has mentioned one important factor, EA is constantly trying to put Take Two's lights out!

I think its more so a problem with with take two not wanting the content in the Simpsons than R* itself butif R* themselves made the choice 2 have it removed, it shows their respect and appreciation for Take Two.

Parodies are done out of respect. Well maybe if this was a title published by FOX and not EA then I'd believe it.

But its clear that EA hasnt any respect for Take Two. So why would they have any REAL respect for GTA?

As a gamer, I'd rather the content remained but looking at it from a business perspective, I understand why this happened.

Why lend your courtesy to a company thats trying to punch your clock!

See Below a paragraph from Gamespot(Pachter on EA):

"It is clear to us that Take-Two’s sports business would have tremendous value to EA, as it would give EA a monopoly on football, basketball, baseball, and hockey," Pachter said. "It is arguable that EA would benefit by as much as $1 billion if it were to obtain an exclusive; this does not mean that it is willing to pay $1 billion

EA; Hell yeah! and we're still trying to. We even took the "Liberty" of borrowing one of your GTA hollow tips and put it in our chamber without you knowing about. Dont worry, its out of respect though.
