Im not gonna get screwed by Capcon by buying this again for characters that could have been downloaded instead of buying a new disc. In a few months they'll release Super Street Fighter IV TURBO after this and then Champion Edition. Jeez people never learn.

Gotta love the new Tekken characters. What i love about Tekken is that there are no staple fighters like in SF. Every fighter in Tekken is usable and the variety of moves with each is astounding. Right now im trying to master Bob and re-master my favorite characters since they've been given new moves and my old juggles dont work anymore.

T6 is balanced now ... but actually there were stapple characters and tiers .

Tekken was broken after tag for a while , especially with characters such as Steve or devil .

What sucks more than anything else is not the fact that Capcom will be double or triple dipping with SFIV, but that the fanboys are stupid enough to pay for it. 10 new characters is a lot as are the additional Ultra Combos, and on that note, MAYBE I can understand a new release as opposed to DLC in that regard. But what annoys me more than anything else is the revamped online. People were wondering since SFIV's release why SFIV's online lacked some of the features present in SSFIITHDRemix and now we know why. Because Capcom was waiting to cash in. That was a blatant example of a developer withholding features for a future updated release. Shame on Capcom and I agree with you. I'll be buying Super Street Fighter IV Turbo in 2011/2012.

A question for anyone who has Tekken 6. Is Bruce's AI still a pain in the ass to fight against? In Dark Resurrection he was cheap as hell and I could barely ever beat him, let alone hit him. And this is coming from someone who could beat Devil Jin with no problem at all.

Agree, i really love Blaz Blu and the combos i can pull off is amazing. Ive been spoiled by Guilty Gear and Blaz Blu, they raised the benchmark for fighting games.

Hey Capcom, how about enhancing the graphics of the game on the PS3 since you know...you gave the "gimped" version of the game on the ps3...

I've noticed that extreme lack of skill eventually turns into hatred for a game (especially with fighters).

I cannot wait for SSFIV. The people complaining aren't street fighter fans/players. They're just casual n00bs that get frustrated at others in order to compensate for their lack of talent.

Hater? Ive been playing Street Fighter on the arcades long before you were allowed to go there with your parents permission. I played SF beginning with the first one and let me tell you that it has gotten old and the only thing different with 4 is the graphics. I still play Street Fighter and i regard it as the greatest fighting game franchise of all time but you have to give props to the new fighting games that have given a new breath of life to the the genre. There is nothing new for me to learn or do with the current Street Fighter so ive moved on to more innovative and fresh fighting games.

SF has 35 Characters?

I'm sure it has less characters then blazblue since they are all copy and paste of same style

Also, What you prefer having few characters and balanced or bunch of characters and imbalanced?

6.3 - Gun with your
"Super Turtle Fighter and since they are all copy and paste of same style" comments tells me you don't know a whole lot about fighters.

Getting beat by someone that turtles is as bad as people complaining about campers in shooters. I have no problems with people that turtle in SFIV.

Why are we bickering over which is best? All fighting games have their strong and weak points. As far as Blazblue? No doubt it's a great game but J Bo is correct that their is still more character variety in SFIV over Blazblue even though some share the same fighting styles (most fighting games do this you know?). Their is enough variations in the individual fighters to use their styles very differently and give them their own identity. I have different very different offensive and defensive approaches when using Ken, Ryu, Akuma and Dan.

Why are you guys here just to hate on SFIV? If you don't like the game then don't read or post under the articles. That is what I do. I don't care about sales or flamewars so I avoid those articles and refrain from responding under them.

Capcom is no different than EA, Atcivision, Valve, Namco or any other company for that matter. Capcom has been doing this (one revision after the other) with Streetfighter since the original released. At least they are "supposedly" bringing it out under normal suggested retail.

Personally I am looking forward to it. I am glad fighters didn't go the way of the dinosaur and I hope Rare and Tecmo bring theirs out soon.

7 - DLC sucks
To the guy who said they release another "turbo" version after this; HOPEFULLY they do! This is street fighter refined revisions are expected. DLC sucks. I want a damn storage medium, a cover and manual and not just a couple of zeroes and ones for my money!

8 - baka doesn't know tekken
tekken tag and t4 were the most balanced tekkens. tekken 6, the tier list is thrown out of the window. almost any character can do well.

I don't see what's wrong with SSFIV. All of the new features plus 10 new characters at a bargain price. Why complain? Obviously some noobs here are new to SF this gen as Capcom always do this. Each new numerical SF game marks a new series in the franchise. Why do you think SFIV was the first new numerical SF in about 10 years. SSFIV is a sequel more than it is an expansion. Fine tunes gameplay, add's a host of new and more sociable online modes, add's new gameplay features, new characters and of course a new story to accommodate the new world warriors.
If you think all of this could be added through a mere patch and DLC you're a fool. You fail to see it from the logistical side of things. It's much easier to just release it on Disc at a budget price which they are doing.

We all knew this was coming out and i feel cheated because all these characters could have been added from the beginning but Capcon decided to release them later on to milk the series. SF IV is a SEQUEL....SUPER SF IV is an expansion that does not deserve a separate disc. Im not the only one who feels this way, because i will feel cheated for buying the first copy of SF IV only to realize they were releasing a new copy with added characters. Another $40 is economical? I could have bought another game with that money.

Super SF4 is a full stand alone game that deserves a proper home release and a taito type x2 arcade game release. People want this. Now shush you hideous being. No one forces you to buy this.
