I just want a game like Demon's Souls to sell well enough to justify a sequel, especially with the great gameplay ideas DS fans have been coming up with and the devs are interested in adding.

Look at games like Heavenly Sword and Lair, both of which I loved. Because of sluggish sales, there might never be a sequel with a chance to improve on what the critics griped about in those games.

F' all that. I want me a HS sequel :(

I'd like to share in the excitement. All gamers, "xbot" or not, should play Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It is definitely my personal favorite this generation; probably ever. Such a good game. Do not let this opportunity pass by! Next up, Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Alan Wake, The Last Guardian, and Final Fantasy XIII. :D

P.S. These are just U.S. numbers. The game has already reached well over a million by now.

Michael Pachter has an IGN user rating of 3.9/10 from 48 user reviews! Too bad IGN didn't do an official review of him but if they did, it would look something like this:

Presentation: 4 - Ugly outfits and bad hair are always sure to make an appearance at every Pachter interview. Not to mention, he looks like a guy who stands in the kiddy pool and smiles way too often. At least he tries to look good though and doesn't have hair like Daniel Kayser from GameTrailers.com.

Sound: 3 - A bland and boring voice doesn't help his already dull interviews. It could be worse though; he could have an annoying-screech-of-a-voice like some of the GameSpot video reviewers.

Lasting Appeal: 1 - Once you read/hear 2 or 3 of his absurd interviews/predictions, you'll cringe whenever you see a headline which contains the words"According to Pachter." Not only will he make you want to avoid interviews and videos focused solely on him, he will make you want to avoid anything where he is just one of multiple participants, such as The Bonus Round.

Overall:2 - His appearance is poor, his voice is sleep-inducing and he makes you want to stab your eyes with needles and plug your ears with lit dynamite. If you're looking for good insight, there are many other, better, choices available.

The gamelay is awesome too. If you are getting one game this fall then it should have to be Uncharted 2
It is also the highest rated game of the year. MW2 is at the same metascore as UC2 but will go down to 93-94 as more reviews come in

I don't like how reviewers give a game a 9/10, 10/10 (suggesting it's a "perfect" game), and then they give another game the same score which isn't even in the same league.

They seem to get blinded by hype and the idea of people complaining about their review, rather than reviewing the game for what it is.

Uncharted 2 is an incredible game, I've only just started playing it though (I don't know why I didn't get it sooner). I'd rented CoD:MW2 before it, and Uncharted 2 is definitely a sight for sore eyes after the last-gen graphics of MW2.

I honestly thought that this myth about how the media is bias against the PS3, would stop after all the positive reviews for Uncharted2, Demon Souls and Ratchet & Clank.

Oh and Sileo apparently you don't remember what last-gen graphics look like. Sure Uncharted2 looks amazing but it's not an entire generation leap from everything else on the market.

You don't look at the review scores to tell the quality of the game.... nowadays.

Uncharted 2 sure is not "next-gen" leap in this console generation but it still is leaps and bounds over most games with only Killzone 2 to rival it.

Positive reviews for R&C? Eurogamer gave it a 7.0 because they believe it's more of the same even though GeoW 2 was never penalized for it. Then there's the issue with EDGE magazine.

Try reading the content behind the scores and you'll see what media "bias" is. I'm sorry to say this but you're gullable if you don't see otherwise.

Comparing a game series with 10 titles (R&C) to a series that only has 2 (GeOW). Is a bit unfair espically when you want them docked the same points for 'more of the same'.
