1.1 - Stick it to the man.
But in this case, you'd get arrested, so do it discreetly.

1.3 - I don't think he hates everything American
He just hated George Bush style policies. We definitely don't have to "wonder" where that would take us. We've lived it and our kids and grand kids will continue to pay for it.

Anyways ... stupid law. Censorship is never the answer.

I'm extremely disappointed in Hugo Chavez. When he came into power after being jailed for so long, he had lots of potential. He squandered it through inept policies and a reversion to authoritarian sentiments. Tis a shame.

I wonder if they will ban movies, tv, violent sports too? Seeing as they make video games a scapegoat, I see no reason for them to stop there. Why not ban movies? Oh right... because video games are a scapegoat.

aspirar... lol

That sounds more like a word a person from Spain would use because they are so lame. Instead of using "mamar" o "chupar". These are more offensive.

Picking on video games is just an excuse to continue to limit the freedoms of the Venezuelan people. Chavez has closed TV stations and radio stations, and he will continue to do so with impunity. On top of that, now there is water rationing and power outages to worry about, and this inept government focuses on something as ridiculous and meaningless as banning video games.

As far as I know, is got nothing to do with what you are saying, is more like the President of Venezuela is against everything America related and is really conservative, well something like that

Chavez started out as a very promising socialist leader, but has had to effect draconian media regulations to protect his country from the U.S.-backed Colombian government. His economic policies are actually very progressive, but his authoritarian stance on censorship makes him seem like a conservative to outside observers. I suppose he has adopted some conservative social policies, but he's no 'conservative,' in the modern sense. And this is coming from a fellow liberal...
