well Qore isnt gonna get u just ONE beta, it will get you many over the years. I can't believe people 'claim' they have a right to MAG beta 24/7 just coz they bought Qore 'only for the beta'.. well you know what they will be getting other beta, exclusive demos, etc etc they better stop their whining.

But I agree, I didnt plan on buying Qore if i didnt get a code.
MAG is soo much fun though... <3

The article is wrong or at least incomplete. When you go online in the beta it gives the complete times on the server. Dates are not listed. You can go look right now. Their card is likely the initial beta card and as such may have different info. People that received an invite through QORE log on and it says Public Beta 2.

It also states under certain circumstances times may be extended.

Here are the times:

Monday - Friday 1pm - 4pm EDT, 8PM - 12AM EDT

Monday - Friday 12pm - 3PM CDT, 7PM - 11PM CDT

Monday - Friday 11AM - 2PM MDT, 6PM - 10PM MDT

Monday - Friday 10AM - 1PM PDT, 5PM - 9PM PDT

And yes I got on Friday for the first time and this thing kicks unreal butt in the shooter department. the first time we all spawned to assault the SVER compound and we were under canopy in a HAHO infil everybody started cheering and were thoroughly wowed. Vicious bloody fighting to get into the C target in that rail car and plant those charges. We managed to get them detonated with 20 seconds left in the round. This is a game that will eat huge chunks of your life.

The game is so much fun.You must not of been playing the right game.Its not top notch graphics but its only the beta which isnt finished.But what game where you playing????? obvisouley not MAG.This game is so much fun and theres alot going on at once.So plzzz play the game longer then 1 minute.The team base is awsome as hell and the game ran so smoothly and lag free.I can see why the hours are so restricted.Got to make sure the game is running at full when its released.

can't you find 4,5,6,7or 8 people on the mag foroms to plan a session in the same team ?

you're basicly saying that it is the game fault that people don't work together ... but the same thing could be said for socom , for warhawk .. for battlefield..
When a game is designed for team play .. find yourself a good team !!

I had forsaken FPS games after COD4.. thought all the FPS were the same. but boi did MAG prove me wrong.

It re-established my faith in FPS genre.. MAG n MW2.. cant come sooner

4 - I gave up out of anger & frustration

I downloaded the update for 4 hours only to get stuck at 99%. Tried to download a second time and got angry just looking at the download bar...0%......1%.....and so on (I have 15 mbps, still too slow), so I deleted everything.

Come on the PS3 is like bullet proof...just leave it on and let it keep trying to download. Its not like the Xbox 360...where if you left it on for 24 hours it would be dead when you came back....LMAO! (just kidding)

I tried 5 times before I actually got it to finish the download...and I was in the 1st phase...so you can imagine that i could have been frustrated...Until I remembered that this is a BETA and not a DEMO. BETA testing is done for THIS type of issue. I can say that Zipper worked really hard and by Friday...I was able to get the download...and it was pretty fast (about an hour and a half for 2.6 gb)Try again on Monday...or even NOW! Even though the servers are down for gaming...you can usually download the updates with no problem.

i did the sign up throught the ps3 EU site the next day it closed so im assuming they have reached the 16k people im assuming im in im looking forward to MAG but im not looking forward to the 3gb install but im sure its worth it in the end :P

I can not wait till tommorrow to try this game out!

It took me 4 times to get the update downloaded....

But it worked! I kept seeing that 99 percent....and finally on the 4th time I got a complete update...

Thanks for the updated times. I'm the one who posted the article for the site. We are having a beta code giveaway and I wanted to inform the fans waiting that you won't be able to just jump in and play the game. I only had the beta card I got when I was at PAX, and because of the Beta schedule I haven't been able to play it yet. Guess I have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks again.

Yea, I had about the same experience as everybody else. Took me about 4 or 5 times to get the update downloaded, but finally got it finished last night.

Now I have to make it through work all day, and even then, I have to wait til 8 tonight to play it... AHHH! Pure torture...

I got the MAG beta i played for a minute and pulled the plug on the ps3 the ps3 and turned on my 360 and played the halo 3,
ps3 is truly where all the generic shooting games go.
