Jees!!! Where did this one came from? I mean I saw some early trailers, but the effects, the physics, the rain pooring on buildings and besides walls... It's insane already for an early demo!

Instant Resistance killer, watch those aliens, how they move, how they fall, how they die. I've seen some from Resistance, but this looks cleaner, sharper, better. Damn another game on my list...

Well you aren't a Natural gamer for sure, because you haven't seen this baby running on a 360 probably.

I've seen MGS2, but the rain and water effects are nothing like this Area 51 effects dude. You can't even compare it from this video to the real thing on 720p on a HDTV.

Ah well ignorant Sony droids I guess you're so sad about your bad investment you can't stand that the 360 just is doing things better I guess. Did I already mention the aliens? Have you seen those PS2 movements of Resistance Aliens when they are shot down? There goes your moral

Because in the real world multiplatform games run better on the 360 deep and Sony fans live in denile of that real world. Devs seem to like the 360 more, thats why 360 fans get these multiplatform demos and games first. The mass majority of multiplatfom videos we see here at N4G, gamtrailers, or Gamevideos/1up are almost allways running on 360s not PS3s. Why is that? Not to mention milti games are for the most part released on the 360 first, while PS3 fans end up waiting for multi games that end up with framerate issues or poor quality. I live in a realistic world and that world tells me that the PS3 just isn't worth my hard earned money. Not when I can get the same thing "better" on the 360 with a cheaper price tag and "LIVE"

Actually NeoGeo hes probably playing the real demo right now from Xbox Live marketplace, the one you see from the video above. Can you say the same thing about the PS3, where is your demo?

i have to stick up for TheMart on this one, yeh i know he can come out with some pretty fanboyish comments, but then again so do other people, but in his comment above, there wasnt anything fanboyish or anything that would indicate he was trying to start a flamewar. he is just excited about a game coming out, and about the demo thats already out.

i for one am really excited about it, and i havnt even had a chance to play the demo i downloaded yesterday! so if i said i have heard loads of good reviews and people should go download it, then would you go

I have played Resistance, and this clip looks better. The game is probably not as long as Resistance, but certainly has promise...this one was not even on my radar before seeing this. Gotta love free demos!!!

8 - Like I said on an earlier story, its very promising but I hope they fix the frame rate.

It gets very chuggy as soon as the action starts. The bullet velocity is also extremly slow.

It does look reallly good though. It uses Massive D, the same physics system as Stranglehold, so it should make for some good destructable environments.

And yeah, the first time you see that shockwave is killer.

Mart. Resistance killer? Based on the fact you've seen some Resistance? You know NOTHING of Resistance, and you should do yourself a favour and actually play it right through. Its one of the best games you'll never own. Oh and theres more than one useful gun in it.

It only dips slightly..maybe 5-8 frames.

The only thing not realistic on the full auto M4 Car Tac was the sound.
The shots are pretty spot on. It actually sounds more like an MP5 to me.
The M4 Car was my bread and butter in the US Army.

FOM is ok. I finished it in about 11hrs. I have a 20GB PS3 on loan from a friend now.
F1 for me is the best PS3 game out on the market now. F1 though should've been harder to play like the old 2001 F1 game for the PS2.
I've so far rented VF5 which I thought was too easy for me to play.
It played well, but the AI didn't fight back hard enough for me.

Downloaded the demo off of LIVE Maretplace: DAMN!!! This game looks insanely good! It's another 'must have!' game.

The demo ran smoothe as silk with no frame rate issues at all. And yes, the teaser ending is fantastic!

13 - why do people have to compare this to Resistance?

'cause it has aliens? Wasn't Resistance a launch title, and weren't the devs new to the system? It didn't support texture streaming, but it had a ton of things going on at once, and there was never any lag. This game is a completely different game and it looks more modern. This is a 5min. demo, sure the GFX look really good, but how deep is the gameplay? We'll find out.

1)BROTHER IN ARMS:HELL'S HIGHWAY-best world war II game, best stories
2)MASS EFFECT-LOVE BIOWARE RPG'S, and look at the fing graphic
3)HALO 3- who isn't buying this
4)STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT III-don't know when its coming out but its going to be mine

This demo is quite cool. Sure there are a few things they can fix like how much amo you can pick up at once and I kinda wish my guys would have went where I sent them. Otherwise this demo was quite cool and certainly got this game put on my to buy list. When is the release date for this? I barely even heard about it before yesterday.

The demo is pretty cool, I played it this morning. I have to say though like Bathyj said the framerate is extremely inconsistent when the action gets heavy. I am looking forwards to this game, it looks great and it seems that there will be some EPIC alien fights..lol at the shockwave part..I was like oh..its over already! Damn...

remind me off Gears of War, when you look at the ground and walls, it's the same sharpness and shine. Also the characters look very "robust" just like Gears. Not strange off course since it's also Unreal engine.

I'm willing to bet most of the people who say this game looks crappy is either:

A Sony Fanboy (Soon to realize this a multi-platform game)
Using a 27 inch tube TV from Walmart that set them back 100$

This game looks amazing, The amount of detail is very impressive. Almost everything in the demo is interactive; while this is hardly innovative it's def. polished.

Did you see the bloody shockwave at the end? And I thought the ending of FEAR was impressive. Yummy.
