1 - Me personally
I'm still waiting on that damn PSP Camera and GPS to hit the states. I was for sure expecting it to be built in to the PSP Go at least. Whats up Sony!?

Besides that....hmm, dont really want anything. Seeing as I still have my old PSP-1000, I still dont and probably still wont see a reason to upgrade so as long as every PSP still plays the same games.

PSP is NEVER, repeat, NEVER, going to get a second analogue nub, for one, it couldn't be used for existing games and, secondly, it cuts the userbase if developers start to develop games with the second stick.

It's not going to get motion sensors for the same reason, or a touch screen for the same reason, or triggers for the same reason, or better graphics because it's still PSP hardware.

That's true for the rest of those things but I think a second analog stick could be possible. Think about it, its as simple as the game dectecting if you're playing your PS3 with a dualshock 3 or sixaxis controller...or at least I would assume so.

So developers could make their games like shooters for example, for the second analog stick in mind instead of default mapping on the right face buttons. And if you are on a older model PSP, you will continue to play using those face buttons as normal.

That couldnt work?

It could work, but it means developers have to put in more work to make the game playable with two completely different functions.

The only use I could see for it would be the handful of PSOne titles that need the dual analogues. Ape Escape or something (even though Ape Escape P works well without the second stick).

I'm no software developer or programmer, but couldn't they just allow an option for new PSPs to use the analog stick or use the face buttons? I mean, current games already let you use the "South Paw" I think it's called, to use the left analog stick to look around, while the right face buttons to walk. I think Medal of Honor did that.

So I don't see how much harder it is to implement the 2nd analog stick without abandoning the current PSP userbase.

Because most of the psp consumers won't have this vital functionality. It's not like adding bluetooth or taking away an umd, or adding a mic.

It's an additioin to the controller scheme, it's just stupid to do it that way.

I hope they will fix the screen interlace problem from PSP 3000, and add built in flash memory.

6 - Well,
What people really want is just support of the current platform. They just need to wait to release the PSP 2 and not create any more revisions.

Dont need a second analogue stick, but i would like to see a crisper, brighter display. The screen needs to be bigger as well to convince me to spend money on another psp. Also better quality onboard speakers would be cool. Oh and a faster cpu plox.

8 - Wait....What?
I want the PSP 4000 (If it is coming out) to have the same design as the PSP 3000, but with a second analog stick and built in memory (16-32gb) and memory stick pro duo. I love the PSP 2000-3000 design it's slim, it's sexy, it's how the 4000 should look like.

OMG I JUST WANT A PSP2! PSP was released almost 5 years ago which means it probably drawing close to the end of its life cycle. I don't want to spend over $200 for something that might be outdated in a year or two.

10 - PSP-4000 will be a refresh like 2000 & 3000
Hi,

Sony will probably release a PSP-4000, but I cannot imagine major changes. It will have the same aspect of the PSP-3000. The only feature that this PSP will add will be, in my opinion, the bluetooth in order to match with the most improvement of the PSPgo.
By adding bluetooth support to PSP Sony can solved the secong analog stick issue, why ? beceause we will be able to hook a Dualshock 3 to it. Just remeneber a patent where a PSP was attached to a DS 3. For me it makes sense.

So, I expect only bluetooth, so I will replace my PSP-1000 by this one.

Bye.
