I don't know, Gears 2 had some strange twists and a plot that went places.... bad places.

This is big news some played Gears 1 and 2 and though 'Such great story, I really felt for Moira(or who ever) and the voices where awsome' Gears of War is famous for it's combat which is awsome... no doubt it's the story and online which where it's major flaws...

I thought Silent Hill was at least watchable...although story wise it made very little sense (they spend 10 minutes at the end attempting to explain what is going on, but it opened up more holes than it filled)...

but yeah...most game movie suck horrendously...MK was ok, but that was mostly because i was like 12 and had no real idea what a 'good' movie really was at that point...if I watched it again it would probably be unbearable...Doom was the biggest disppointment...but I knew it would be when i first heard that they were omitting the 'hell' part of the story in exchange for alien research or something...to keep it safer or whatever...bad move, the movie then sucked...it sucked more than Doom 3...and THAT is saying something...

Uwe is terrible...

normally what happens in film making is that if you make a terrible movie that reaches a large audience...you are pretty much done making major films...you then get kicked around in the indie film arena for a while, either become successful in that...or end up being demoted even further into porn or television...

Uwe makes terrible film after terrible film...yet still gets support from his crazed German producers...who are good at marketing...and are able to turn a profit on his complete trash movies...its not that everyone is out to get him...he is simply awful, but has support from people that know how to make money off of him...

I think The Rock is talented...he just needs the right project to show that side. Gears of War is not that project. Mickey Rourke is surely the perfect choice.

Mickey Rourke definitely has charisma on the screen. However, if you have viewed his last several "action" movies, he doesnt really need to move much. I can already imagine him holding a gun smoking a cigar walking down a hallway blasting people while the retarted enemy shoots pepples and deflects off his armor. Im sorry, he is just too old. The Rock in Doom was fun to watch till the end.

But you are right. If it's a success, then it'll spawn sequels. And by the time a second one rolls about, he'll be pushing 60. Still, Sly is a good example...Rambo V is apparently on the way.

You can look like Tom Glavine & be on steroids. It doesn't make everyone huge. The majority of athletes take them (by majority I mean those that do, not that a majority do) do so because it allows them to work out longer & harder, & recover from injury faster. It's not about looking like Lee Haney. Anyways, I don't believe DeWayne Johnson used the juice. I also feel he is a pretty good actor that just needs to never do Southland Tales ever again.

Well that's why I was careful to say "I don't know how good his acting skills are". But you have to admit, in the looks department he's a dead ringer. His face is similar and his arms are gi-normous and cut. He definitely has that overly-muscular, comic book physique like Marcus Fenix does. I do realize he wouldn't be the best choice to play in what would most likely be a summer blockbuster since he has done limited to no acting (except what he does on RAW from week to week).

and aside, if a Resistance movie is even made, well they have a great story on it, (if it follow Hale's story of the game) the only problem about it, is about the monsters, and this is on this movie as well, is the monsters are on 3D plz let them be ok!, no poor characters gpx.

BUT if they put power rangers's monsters disguises then i shall laugh at the movie lol
