We have many great boxers that game from here, some to be proud of (gatti) other not so much (Ouelette). This is a sad way to go for one of the classier boxers to come out of our great town.

2 - wow that's really crazy and sad
RIP great boxer and indeed a legend in his own right RIP

P/s to those reporting the article as something not related to boxing, get your head straight. He was on the cover of EA's well know boxing game in Fight Night.

Always left it all in the ring, he will be missed. First time I saw him was when he fought Gabe Ruelas and came back from being hurt to knock Ruelas out. He didn't always win, but he always made it entertaining. RIP.

Damn, if this turns out to be brain damage related it could have some serious ramifications for the sport in this day and age.

It was murder bud. The wife and someone else did it. He was choked to death with her hand bag after being hit in the head with something. Sucks he had to go out that way, he was a soldier.

RIP Aturro gatti, he fought in the two greatest fights ever seen at his weight against Irish Man Mickey Ward - His wife is a suspect, he was murdered on his second honeymoon by a bag strap (strangled to death)

9 - To all my older N4G guys out there.
First Steve McNair, and now Gotti. Some of these women out here are scandalous. Watch you back. If you're doing dirt or mistreating you significant other/girlfriend, watch your back (and front). These chicks are going crazy. If you see some signs of....

Crazy
Deranged
Lack of Self-Esteem

Run!! Do not look back. I don't care how good the ***** is, or how good she looks.

The reason I'm a boxing fan is Gatti/Ward I.

Sure, I'd watched boxing before, but that transcended the sport. One of the greatest fights ever caught on tape. If you haven't seen it, make sure to at least check out round 9 on youtube.

RIP Thunder. We don't see heart like that in the ring very often.
