Zombie outfit lands man in handcuffs

KOMO News writes; SEATTLE -- A man dressed for an evening zombie crawl chose a costume that was a bit too realistic, and it ended up getting him arrested.

"The police came in with guns and they caught the guy and I'm like, 'Oh wait, he's in costume,' " said Carl, the store's owner.

Seage, the event's organizer, says the man was dressed as one of the zombies from Resident Evil's Umbrella Corporation.

The police up here suck, My roomate was detained for an hour today because someone else was shoplifting and they thought it was him...we both have high paying jobs and don't steal. He even told the officer which direction the offender went and gave a description of the guy and his car they still arrested and cuffed my roomate, then after an hour and my buddy threatning to sue for false imprisionment he was finally let go with no apology, these cops in this area are d!cks.

1.2 - I think almost anyone has a similar story
Cops are trained to be vigilant, and common sense goes out the window a lot of times. They get to thinking that everyone is a criminal when most people are just normal. I too, have been mistaken by police several times, except mine didn't end as well.

I was the driver of the car when me and a few friends got pulled over. I smoke pot, but do not carry it on me. One of my ex-friends had some on him, and decided to throw it under my seat. I got blamed for it, lost my license for two years, and it was hard to find a job for quite a while.

Sound like the cops were do their job to me.

The title and article says hes dressed as a zombie. However it also says "Wearing all black, knee pads, a knife, grenade, a gas mask, and carrying what looked to be a machine gun, he walked into the Metro Clothing" and the pictures they show match this. Its easy to see how someone could mistake a guy waering that for some kind of criminal.

If someone thought that someone dressed as a zombie was real it be pretty stupid

i was stopped by police because i as running through a housing area. in the rain...

my answer to why were you running , was because its cold and wet and im running late to watch a tv show. they let me go but followed my home.
