Looking forward to getting more info on Infamous one of my most anticipated games for next year.

Yeap I got Far Cry 2 just collecting dust right now bc of LBP. Doesn't get easier with R2 and COD5 next 2 weeks.

To clear up above:

Sony's Bend studio is making the Resistance PSP.

Zipper the makers of the first couple of Socoms (not latest PS3 Socom that is Slant 6) are making MAG.

I've yet to see a site write a preview that bashes a game though. Most professional media sites reserve harsh criticism until after the game is in final review form. Also, most of the previews are based on a very early demo.

If you played R&C Quest for booty in the end of the game it basically says that the next chapter in the R&C series is coming fall 2009. So yea its basically confirmed.

09 is looking hot. Still several more games that potentially might show up. Twisted Metal, maybe we see the next incognito project, and i expect london studio is working on something more then just home. Liverpool studio has certainly been working on more then just wipeout HD. Maybe some joint project with incognito or something like that (Hardware2?)

Oh and SCE Foster city. Do they even exist? I have no idea what they have made before, but they should be coming with something new soon if they are actually working on something. And SCE Cambridge? I heard they were helping with killzone2, but i suppose they are working on something else aswell.

I am not holding my hopes up for MAG - isn't it being developed by the same devs who done SOCOM? (Slant Six)?

The ones that excite me the most are Uncharted 2 and GoW 3.

I wouldn`t be surprised if Studio Liverpool was making another Wipeout game, even though nothing`s official yet. Just want them to put Wipeout HD on Blue Ray too.

If 2007 was better than 2006 and 2008 is better than 2007 and 2009 is looking better than 2008 than what the hell is 2010 going to be like. I think there are almost too many good games coming out. Hell I can not afford them all. It is not the price of the PS3 that is the problem it is the fact that there are so many good games for it. $60+60+60+60+60+tax is like $340. Why can't there be less games...

Im not getting my hope up about MAG. Its being developed by the Socom guys isn't it and that turned out garbage. If they can't manage 32 players online how on earth will they manage 256.
And 256 players online sounds like a nightmare. It will be a free for all.

Actually, the recent Socom game was not developed by the original creators of the game, Zipper. It was developed by Slant Six, who only had experience developing the PSP Socom games. That being said, by giving the project to the originators, I'm sure the game will turn out much better than the recent one that came out. Additionally, I highly doubt it will be a free for all like everyone thinks. It was stated somewhere that the game will emulate the Resistance 2 model for multiplayer. In this case, the 256 will be divided into smaller groups with more tactical objectives in respect to the overall mode. This way, they will prevent it from being a fragfest.

This generations Planetside, while not without it's faults, however, I have very fond memories of the HUGE battles and team tactics. CR5 BR24, neve made 25 as I quit last month.... looking forward to MAG very much. :)
