Spore Outsells Microsoft Office: September's 20 Best-Selling PC Games Revealed

"Rollings its weekly PC sales charts into one giant monthly bundle, the NPD Group has released a list of the 20 best-selling PC games at U.S. retailers across September.

Recent releases such as Spore, Warhammer Online, Crysis Warhead and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky all made strong debuts, with classics such as The Sims 2, World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Warcraft III and Diablo continuing to sell well."

The reason this is news to me, because of the fact that Spore VS. MS Office.. Office is pivotal to the work environment.. at least right now it is. >;)

Office being the more important application which sells for more, which MS has also pitched to many companies/businesses/etc ( whatever you like calling it )
In turn they buy the app in bulk and secure low cost deals for further iterations of the software.

Edited: So how does Spore outsell the worlds leading office software?
