You hit it on the head. Piccolo looks like one of the bad guys from Blade II which was also a pile of fail.

It was to be expected though cause I just don't see how DBZ can translate to a good movie.

wow, this is my favorite anime show of all time and there going to destroy its reputation with this sorry excuse for a movie?

Dragonball is not the type of anime you make a movie off of its excellent animated but would look rediculous when played by real actors. how is a real actor suppose to walk around with spikey yellow hair, yelling kamahamha, and still be taken serious?

2.2 - They shouldn't try to make it like the cartoon, it's impossible.
They should try to make something as good or better than the cartoon... something that "reminds" you of the cartoon. The best way to make it look like teh cartoon is to make another Dragon Ball (Z) anime.

I'm going to give this film a chance,; it's made buy the Shaolin Soccer guy and I haven't seen any scene yet so...

the Shaolin Soccer dude left because Hollywood had their heads too far up their own A-holes.

All hope is lost for this movie, the only person who could possibly save this movie is Chow Yun Fat... but I'm pretty sure no matter how good he plays his role the other 99% of the movie will suck @ss!

I have been following the movies progress and so far there has been a lot of excitement over it so much so they moved the release date to next year to get the maximum profit. Also they got the crowd who did the visual effects for Sin City and 300 so I am not ready to write the film off yet.
